Shoulder rehabilitation: the latest scientific and clinical update. Part III

The workshop took place on 15-16 February 2024 and was led by experienced Professor of Physiotherapy (PT, Ph.D.) Ann Cools (Ghent University, Belgium), founder of The European Shoulder/Elbow Association for Physiotherapists (EUSSER.org)

Day 1:

  • rotator cuff tendinopathy
  • pathology of the long tendon of the biceps brachii muscle
  • rotator cuff muscle tendon tears
  • anterior instability of the shoulder joint in “overhead ” athletes

Day 2:

  • multidirectional instability of the shoulder joint
  • scapula type II dysfunction in “overhead” athletes
  • type II scapular dysfunction (‘winging’)
  • type III scapular dysfunction (based on nerve pathology)
