At the end of April 2025, a two-day in-person seminar was led by PT, Ph.D., Alison Grimaldi (Australia), a professor and researcher in physiotherapy with more than 30 years of clinical experience in the hip and pelvic region.
The seminar covered:
– Diagnostic pain provocation tests for determining intra-articular and extra-articular pain
– Assessment of bone morphology, joint stability, and neurodynamics
– Assessment of posture and main movement patterns in relation to specific pain and load
– Clinical reasoning strategies to determine the best approach to pain reduction and treatment, as well as to improve load tolerance
– Practical management strategies – Manual therapy – joint treatment techniques, nerve mobilization exercises for the hip joint.
